SERVICE AWARDS
Announcement about the Presidential Volunteer Service Award:
Many parents have been having trouble registering on the PVSA website to log service hours. The PVSA website has just announced that as of 3/4/2019 they will no longer allow parents to register children and log hours. It is now the job of the certifying organization (CG PTA).
If you have already REGISTERED, you can still log in and enter hours and will still be responsible for doing so by the deadline: March 31st.
IF YOU HAVE NEVER REGISTERED, please e-mail your hours to cgvolunteerawards@gmail.com. E-mails must be sent in by March 25th in order to give time for entering hours. No hours will be accepted after the 25th.
Please fill out all information on the attached form. Forms with information missing will not have hours entered.
Make sure to enter your hours on both sites so that you can earn 2 SEPERATE awards!!!
Entering hours into 1 site does not get you both awards

NEISD Volunteer Service Award
The Volunteer Program is the bridge between our community and the best interests of the students in the North East Independent School District. Our goal is to help students gain the academic skills and the self-confidence necessary to become successful learners while reaching their fullest potential in the community.
Our department acts as a point of contact for volunteers and mentors. We work with our schools and other education support groups to identify those practices that benefit students the most, and then marshal resources to pilot and expand successful programs.
