Cibolo Green | 2023 5th Grade Strings Winter Concert Information

Dear Parents/Guardians, 

 

The 5th Grade Strings programs from the Tex Hill and Tejeda clusters have been invited to perform with members of the Johnson HS Orchestra at this year's Johnson HS Orchestra Winter Concert. Please review the information below. 

 

What: 5th Grade Strings Winter Performance 

When: Monday, December 11th

Where: Johnson HS Auditorium (23203 Bulverde Rd.)

Attire: Sunday Best (ex. slacks/skirts/dresses, button-up shirt/blouse, closed-toe shoes) Shorts, ripped jeans, sandals are not recommended. Cello students are encouraged to wear slacks/pants or long dress to allow for proper posture. Festive holiday hats may be worn. 

Tuning/Rehearsal: Johnson HS Auditorium @ 5:00 pm

Concert: Johnson HS Auditorium @ 6:00 pm - 6:15 pm

 

So that directors can offer students the most effective rehearsal time, auditorium doors will not open for families and friends until 5:45 pm. 

 

The following items will be needed:

1. Instrument & bow

2. Accessories (ex. shoulder rest for violin/viola students, slip stop for cello/bass students)

3. Music Stand

4. Sheet Music (distributed in class)

All personal items must be labeled or tagged to prevent loss.
